Gongura Kabuli Chana Chutney


1.Gongura (Sorrel leaves)
2.Kabuli chana soaked and boiled
3.Garlic cloves
4.Cumin seeds
5.Fenugreek seeds
6.Asofetida (Inguva)
7.Dry red chillies
8.Green chillies
9.Red chilly powder
10.Salt to taste
11.Turmeric powder
12.Mustard seeds
13.Curry leaves
14.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pressure cooker pour oil,heat it.
2.Add garlic cloves,cumin and fenugreek powder,pinch of asofetida,dry red chillies,green chillies.Fry them for few minutes.
3.Add gongura leaves,red chilly powder,salt,turmeric powder and kabuli chana.
4.Add some water to the mixture and close the pressure pan.Cook for 2 whistles.
5.Now take a pan pour oil for tempering,add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,dry red chilly seeds and curry leaves.
6.Add this tempering mixture in chana dal,give it a good mix.
