Mixed Leafy Dal


1.Thotakoora chopped 1 cup
2.Spinach chopped 1 cup
3.Chana dal 1/2 cup
4.Moong dal 1/2 cup
5.Toor daal 1/2 cup
6.Beetroot grated 1/4 cup
7.Coconut grated 1/4 cup
8.Onion chopped 1
9.Coriander leaves
10.Ghee 2 tbsp
11.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
12.Garlic cloves 4
13.Dry red chillies 2
14.Tomato 1
15.Green chillies 2
16.Tamarind pulp
17.Turmeric powder a pinch
18.Salt to taste


1.Take a pan add ghee,melt it.
2.Add tempering seeds,curry leaves,garlic cloves,green chillies and saute.
3.Add chopped onions,salt,add leafy vegetables,water and mix well.
4.Add chopped tomato,mixed dals paste (soaked and grinded) water,tamarind pulp,salt,turmeric powder and mix well.
5.Cook for few minutes and serve hot with rice.
