Pineapple Rasam


1.Pineapple 1 cup chopped
2.Coconut milk 1 cup
3.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
4.Boiled toor dal 1 cup
5.Tomato 1 chopped
6.Green chillies 1
7.Coriander leaves
8.Curry leaves
9.Rasam powder 1 tbsp
10.Salt to taste
11.Asofetida a pinch
12.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour some oil,heat it.
2.Add tempering seeds.curry leaves,coriander leaves and saute.
3.Add 3 glasses of water and bring it to boil.
4.Add tomato chopped,boiled toor dal,salt and cook for a minute.
5.Add coconut milk and pineapple paste to the mixture,mix well.
6.Add green chillies,rasam powder.
7.Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes,finally add asofetida a pinch,serve hot with rice..!!!
