Mutton Dalcha


1.Mutton chops
2.Red chilli powder
3.Chana dal
4.Toor dal
5.Black cloves
7.Onions chopped
8.Ginger garlic paste
9.Tamarind pulp
11.Cinnamon stick
12.Green chillies
13.Turmeric powder
15.Salt to taste
16.Curry leaves
17.Coriander leaves


1.Marinade process:Add garlic paste,curd,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt.Keep aside for couple of hours.
2.Cook for 2-3 whistles in pressure cooker.
3.Cook chana dal,toor dal in pressure cooker and keep aside.
4.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
5.Add chopped onions,green chillies cut slitted,cinnamon stick,cardamoms,curry leaves,black cloves,turmeric powder and saute.
6.Add pressure cooked mutton,toor dal mixture,tamarind pulp,salt,water and cook on high flame by closing lid.
7.Add coriander leaves,pudina leaves and mix well.Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with biryani and rice.
