Maratha Chekkalu

Ingredients:

1.Besan flour
2.Onion chopped
3.Chana dal
4.Red chilli powder
5.Salt to taste
6.Oil for deep frying
7.Garam masala powder
8.Turmeric powder
9.Ginger garlic paste
10.Rice flour
11.Coriander leaves

Preparation:

1.Take a bowl add 1 cup rice flour,2 tbsp chopped onions,1 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder,salt,turmeric powder,2 tbsp besan flour,1/2 tbsp garam masala powder,coriander leaves,2 tbsp soaked chana dal,1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and mix well by adding some water.
2.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
3.Prepare a stiff dough.Set aside
4.Prepare small dumplings and press into a small chapathi.Gently drop them in hot oil and deep fry.
5.Turn on both the sides and fry till golden and crisp.Transfer into a paper napkin.Serve hot..!!!
