Dal Stuffed Karela


1.Skinless boiled kakarakayalu (boil with salt,turmeric powder,tamarind)
2.Green chillies
3.Cumin seeds
4.Coriander powder
5.Salt to taste
6.Turmeric powder
7.Corn flour
8.Roughly mashed soaked chana dal
9.Red chilli powder
11.Onion chopped


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
2.Add cumin seeds,green chillies,onion chopped 1 cup and saute for few minutes till light golden.
3.Now add mashed chana dal,coriander powder,turmeric powder a pinch,salt to taste,red chilli powder and give it a good mix.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
5.Now stuff the fried mixture in boiled kakarakayalu,bind the slit with some corn flour.
6.Slowly drop them in hot oil and fry,fry till they change in golden brown colour and completely done.Transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
