1.Semiya soaked in curd
2.Chana dal soaked in curd both combinedly
4.Rice flour
5.Green chillies
6.Curry leaves
7.Coriander leaves
8.Onion chopped
9.Cumin seeds
10.Oil for deep frying
11.Salt to taste
12.Red chilli powder


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Add onion chopped 1 cup in semiya mixture,green chillies,cumin seeds,Red chilli powder 1 tbsp,salt to taste,coriander leaves,curry leaves,rice flour 1 cup and mix well.Prepare a smooth and stiff dough.
3.Take a banana leaf grease some oil and spread evenly.
4.Take small amount of mixture of dough and press into a thin layered chapathi,slowly drop into hot oil and deep fry.
5.Fry till golden brown colour,transfer onto a paper napkin and drain excess oil.Serve hot
