Raagi Boorelu


1.Raagi flour
3.Oil for deep frying
4.Sesame seeds
5.Dry coconut powder


1.Dry roast sesame seeds 1/2 cup for few minutes and keep aside.
2.Take a pan add 1 cup jaggery,little amount water and melt it on medium flame.
3.Add dry coconut powder 1 cup,1 tbsp dalda and mix well with jaggery syrup.
4.Add dry roasted sesame seeds and give it a mix,now add 1/2 bowl raagi flour and mix well evenly.Fry for few minutes on medium flame.
5.Off the stove and mix well the dough,heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
6.Take a plastic cover and grease some oil,prepare a round dumpling and press into a thin layered chapathi (boorelu). Gently drop them in hot oil and deep fry.
7.Fry evenly on both sides and transfer onto a paper napkin,serve hot.
