1.Besan flour
2.Onion paste
4.Mustard seeds
5.Red chilli powder
6.Tomato puree
7.Coriander powder
8.Turmeric powder
10.Salt to taste
11.Ginger garlic paste
12.Green chillies
13.Moong dal soaked and grinded


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add grinded moong dal batter,add red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp,salt to taste and mix well.
3.Slowly drop the mixture in hot oil like pakodas and deep fry,keep turning in between fry till light brown colour.
4.Meanwhile take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
5.Add mustard seeds,onion paste 1 cup and saute for few minutes.
6.Add tomato puree 1 cup and mix well,ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp,saute till oil separates and floats on top.
7.Add curd 1 cup,turmeric powder,red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp,salt to taste and mix well.
8.Add coriander powder 1 tbsp,some water as we needed for gravy consistency.
9.Add besan flour in a small bowl,some water and prepare a thick paste/batter without forming any lumps.
10.Add besan batter in fried mixture and mix well,finally add fried pakodas and give it a good stir.Sprinkle some coriande leaves,transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
