Munagaaku Sambar

Ingredients:

1.Munagaaku
2.Toor dal
3.Tamarind
4.Salt
5.Turmeric powder
6.Coriander seeds
7.Red chillies
8.Curry leaves
9.Pepper corns
10.Ginger garlic paste
11.Onions
12.Chana dal
13.Tempering seeds
14.Sambar powder
15.Coriander leaves
16.Oil

Preparation:

1.Boil munagaaku in water for few minutes.
2.Fry red chillies,coriander seeds,pepper corns,chana dal,onions and keep aside.
3.Drain water from munagaaku,blend into a fine paste.Transfer into a bowl.
4.Blend all fried ingredients into coarse paste,keep aside in a separate plate.
5.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,curry leaves,onions and saute,add fried ground paste and fry for a minute.
6.Add turmeric powder and give it a stir,add tamarind juice,ginger garlic paste and mix well.
7.Add sambar powder,salt,ground munagaaku paste and mix well.Add boiled and grinded toor dal paste and give it a mix.
8.Add some water as required,boil for 5 minutes.Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
