Spicy Tandoori Cauliflower

Spicy Tandoori Cauliflower


1.Cauliflower 1 medium size
2.Curd 1 cup
3.Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
4.Tandoori masala 2 tbsp
5.Salt to taste
6.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
7.Paprika 1/4 tbsp
8.Oil 1 tbsp
9.Onion sliced 2 medium
10.Oil 1 tbsp
12.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
13.Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
14.Red chilli powder 1/4 tbsp
15.Green chillies for taste
16.Salt to taste
17.Mango powder 1 tbsp
18.Coriander leaves


1.Hang the yogurt in a muslin/cotton cloth for about 30-40minutes.
2.Trim the Cauliflower and take off the leaves and excess stalk making sure the Cauliflower stays as one piece.
3.Wash the Cauliflower very well under running water or soak it in water.
4.Put the Cauliflower into a zip lock bag,Do not drain out all the water out of the cauliflower.
5.Micro wave the cauliflower for 5-7 minutes,once the cauliflower is done.
6.Place the cauliflower into a plate.
7.Take a bowl add hung curd and all ingredients for the marinade and mix well.
8.Now rub the paste on cauliflower all over evenly,we can apply on stem as well.
9.Keep aside for 1 hour after marinade.
10.Now place the cauliflower in oven and cook on high,cook for 5-10 minutes.
11.For the garnish, take a microwave safe dish and add in the onions and oil.
12.Mix well and microwave for 2 + 1 minute, stirring after  2 minutes.
13.Add in the rest of the garnish ingredients except for the cilantro and mix well.
14.Cook in the microwave for about 8 minutes mixing every 2 minutes.
15.Add in the coriander leaves and mix again.Serve hot.
