Shammi Kebabs


1.Minced meat 1 lb
2.Chana dal 1/2 cup
3.Garlic cloves 3
4.Ginger 1 piece
5.Green chillies to taste
6.Onion 1/2 medium
7.Garam masala 1/2 tbsp
8.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
9.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
10.Salt to taste
11.Red chilli powder to taste
12.Egg 1 whisked
13.Bread crumbs for coating


a pressure pan add meat,dal,garlic,ginger,green chilli,salt and
water.Cook for 1 whistle and reduce the heat.Allow it to cook for 25-30
2.Let the mixture cool, Add in the Onions and grind well in a blender.
3.Add garam masala powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,red chilli powder.Mix well.
4.Add little amount of egg whisked and mix well.
5.Now prepare small patties into desired shapes and store in refrigeratoe for couple of hours.
6.Take a flat tawa and heat it.
the patties on bread crumbs and place on hot tawa,cook on both the
sides by drizzling some oil.Cook till golden brown colour.Serve hot.
