Masala Rice

Masala Rice


1.Cooked rice 3 cups
2.Oil 1 tbsp
3.Mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp
4.Asafoetida 1/8 tbsp
5.Peanuts 3 tbsp
6.Curry leaves
7.Green chillies to taste
8.Channa masala 2 tbsp
9.Salt to taste
10.Coriander leaves for garnishing


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
2.Add mustard seeds and allow them to pop up.
3.Add asafoetida,turmeric powder and some peanuts and mix well.
4.Cook till peanuts change into brown colour.
5.Meanwhile heat the rice in micro wave in room temperature.
6.Add chana masala powder,salt to rice and mix well upside down.
7.Once the Peanuts are cooked, add in Curry Leaves and finely chopped Green Chillies.
8.Immediately after that, add in the spiced Rice.
9. Toss and mix well and allow the Rice to heat,garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
