Mirchi Bhajji

Ingredients:

1.Besan flour 1 cup
2.Rice flour 2 tbsp
3.Salt to taste
4.Asafoetida 1/8 tbsp
5.Red chilli powder as per taste
6.Baking soda 1/4 tbsp
7.Oil 1 tbsp

Preparation:

1.Take a small bowl add salt,chat masala powder,dry mango powder,carom seeds.Mix well.
2.Stuff the mixture into slit green chillies.
3.We can even stuff boiled potato mash along with cumin powder,coriander leaves.
4.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
5. In a mixing bowl, add Besan Flour, Rice Flour, Salt, Asafoetida, Red Chili Powder and Baking Soda. Mix well.
6.Add 1 Tbsp Oil and mix. Add water slowly and form a smooth, lump free batter.
7.Dip the stuffed chilies into the batter (one at at time), shake off excess and drop carefully into the hot oil.
8. Fry until golden on all sides and remove onto a paper napkin,drain excess oil.Serve hot with ketchup.
