Kattu Pongali

Ingredients:


1.Rice 2 cups
2.Moong dal 1 cup
3.Urad dal
4.Curry leaves
5.Cumin seeds
6.Cashew nuts
7.Green chillies
8.Pepper corns
9.Ginger
10.Salt
11.Ghee

Preparation
:


1.Melt some ghee in a pan,add urad dal,cumin seeds,ginger chopped,green chillies,pepper corns,curry leaves and saute for few minutes.
2.Add cashew nuts,3 cups of water,salt and bring it to boil.
3.Add soaked rice,moong dal and bring it to boil for few minutes till water evaporates.Cover and cook.
4.Cook till done,transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
