Masala Poori


1.Wheat flour 1 cup
2.Besan flour 1/4 cup
3.Carom seeds 1/2 tbsp
4.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
5.Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tbsp
6.Coriander powder


1.Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
2.Meanwhile blend carom seeds,cumin seeds into a coarse powder.
3.Take a bowl add wheat flour,besan flour,crushed ground mixture,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,salt and mix well and add hot oil.
4.Mix well the flour with oil,Add water and mix well,prepare a soft dough and knead it.
5.Wrap a plastic cover and rest it for 15 minutes.After 15 minutes remove the dough and grease some oil with your palms and knead it well.
6.Divide the dough into small equal portions,roll them into puris.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
7.Slowly drop the puris in hot oil and deep fry till its starts puffing up.Drain onto a paper napkin,Serve hot.
