1.Potato 1 cup
2.Besan flour 1 1/2 cup
3.Rice flour 4 tbsp
4.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
5.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
6.Carom seeds 1/2 tbsp
7.Baking soda 1/4 tbsp
8.Salt to taste


1.Take a bowl add in besan flour,red chilli powder,baking soda,turmeric powder,carom seeds,salt to taste,mix all the ingredients together.
2.Add water and mix well,prepare a smooth batter.
3.Peel and cut potatoes into thin rounds.
4.Now dip the potato rounds in batter,deep fry till till golden colour.Fry on both sides evenly.
5.Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
