1.Maida 1 cup
2.Bombay ravva 1/4 cup
3.Oil 2 tbsp
4.Warm Milk 1/2 cup
5.Pinch of salt
6.Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
7.Bombay ravva 1 tbsp
8.Dry grated coconut 1 cup
9.Powdered sugar 1 cup
10.Cardamom powder 1/4 tbsp
11.Assorted nuts
12.Rice flour 2 tbsp
13.Ghee 2 tbsp


1.Heat 2 tbsp oil.Mix maida,bombay ravva,salt and pour hot oil on it and mix well.
2.Pour warm milk slowly to make medium consistency dough.
3.Cover and keep the dough for 30 minutes.
4.Dry bombay ravva,poppy seeds till they turn into light brown color.
5.Add coconut to dry roasted ravva and poppy seeds,add sugar,cardamom powder,dry fruits and mix well evenly.
6.Take the dough and knead it well.Divide the dough into 3 equal portions.
7.Now roll them into three thin puris,mix rice flour and ghee to roll smoothly.
take a thin roti,spread rice flour mixture evenly on it,place another
thin roti on top of it and spread rice flour mixture.Repeat the same
process for third roti.
9.Now start rolling three rotis together.Stretch it out little bit,now divide into equal parts.
10.Add stuffing,apply milk to the edges and seal the karanji well.
11.Use fork and make some design on edges.Drop them in hot oil and deep fry till golden colour.
