Tindora Fry


1.Ivy gourd 1 lb
2.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
3.Coriander powder 2 tbsp
4.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
5.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
6.Oil 2 tbsp
7.Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
8.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
9.Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
10.Pinch of hing
11.Curry leaves
12.Green chillies 2 slit
13.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
14.Coconut powder 2 tbsp


1.Wash ivy gourd well and remove both edges and cut into length wise.
2.Add red chilli powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,lemon juice, over cut ivy gourd.Mix well and leave for about 15 minutes.
3.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.Add in mustard seeds,cumin seeds,hing,garlic chopped.Saute till garlic turns into nice golden color.
4.Add green chillies,currt leaves,ivy gourd and mix well.
5.Cover and cook till done.
6.Serve hot with rice or roti.
