Mango Pickle


1.Raw mango 1
2.Oil 1/2 cup
3.Red chilli powder 3 tbsp
4.Roasted salt 1 1/2 tbsp
5.Cinnamon stick 1/4
6.Mustard seeds crushed 1 tbsp
7.Clove 1
8.Pepper corns 3
9.Fenugreek seeds 8-10
10.Hing 1/8 tbsp
11.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp


1.Wash and pat dry raw mango and keep aside.
2.Heat up oil till its smoky hot,keep aside.
3.After oil cools down,add in turmeric powder,hing.
4.Take another pan,add in methi seeds and other spices.
5.Dry roast all the ingredients till they change in color.
6.Now transfer the roasted ingredients into mortar and pound them into a smooth powder.
7.After whole masala also dry roast over medium heat till the time salt gets deep golden color.
8.Transfer roasted salt into a plate,now take red chilli powder,add in masala powder,roasted salt,mustard powder and mix well.
9.Then add entire preheated oil and mix well.Cover with and cloth,store for about 15 days.
