Apple Jalebi


1.Apples 2 peeled and sliced them in thin rings
2.Maida 3/4 cup
3.Dry yeast 1/2 tbsp
4.Sugar 1/2 tbsp+ 1 1/4 cup
5.Oil 1 tbsp + deep frying
6.Lemon juice 1/4 tbsp
7.Cardamom powder 1/4 tbsp
8.Pista sliced 1 tbsp


1.Dissolve the yeast and sugar in ¼ cup warm water, and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
2.Mix the flour and oil together.Add the yeast solution to the flour and mix. Make a smooth batter. Add water as needed.
3.Rest the batter for half hour,Make sure the batter is fermented.
4.Boil the sugar and water together. Add the lemon juice, and cardamom boil for about 8 minutes until syrup is about ½ thread.
5.Heat the oil in a frying pan,now dip the apple slices in batter and slowly drop them in hot oil.Cook for 4-5 minutes.
6.Fry till golden brown color,transfer them into warm sugar syrup,soak for few seconds and remove from it and keep aside in a separate a plate,garnish with pistachios,serve.
