Vegetable Idli


1.Idli ravva soaked
2.Chana dal 1 cup
3.Moong dal 1 cup
4.Urad dal 1 cup
5.Carrot chopped
6.Green peas
7.Potatoes chopped
8.Coriander leaves
9.Green chillies
10.Mustard seeds
11.Garlic cloves
12.Cumin seeds
13.Salt to taste
14.Onion chopped


1.Blend chana dal,moong dal,urad dal with green chillies and cumin seeds into a smooth paste.
2.Add soaked idli ravva and mix well,to this mixture add veggies (carrot,green peas,onions,salt,coriander leaves,potatoes)
3.Meanwhile take a pan pour some oil and add in mustard seeds and transfer into idli batter.
4.Take idli molds and grease with some oil,add some batter to the molds and steam cook for 10 minutes till done.Serve hot with chutney.
