Dosakaya Besan


1.Cucumber peeled and chopped
2.Cumin seeds
3.Mustard seeds
4.Onion chopped
5.Ginger garlic paste
6.Turmeric powder
7.Besan flour
8.Salt to taste
9.Red chilli powder
10.Curry leaves
11.Coriander leaves


1.Take a pan pour some oil 100 grams and heat it.
2.Add in cumin seeds,mustard seeds and saute for few seconds.
3.Add onion chopped and fry till reddish brown color.
4.Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder and mix well.Saute for few minutes.
5.Add cucumber pieces and mix well,cover and cook for 10 minutes till done.
6.Add red chilli powder 1 tbsp,salt to taste and stir fry for few seconds,add some water as we needed .
7.Add curry leaves,cover and cook for another 10 minutes.
8.Remove the lid and add 2 tbsp besan flour and give it a good stir.Cook till it attains thick consistency.Cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
9.Transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
