2.Soaked chana dal
4.Ginger garlic paste
5.Salt to taste
6.Red chilli powder
7.Green chillies
8.Curry leaves
9.Onion & coriander paste
10.Baby onions peeled
11.Garam masala powder


1.Take a pressure pan pour some oil and heat it.
2.Add baby onions and saute till golden brown color,transfer into a bowl.
3.In the same pan pour some oil and add onion,coriander paste.Saute till raw smell leaves.
4.Add garam masala powder and mix well.
5.Now add chicken,coat well the chicken with masala.Add in turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder and mix it well.
6.Add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and mix well evenly,fry for few minutes.
7.Add curry leaves,green chillies cut and slitted,some water as required and cook for 2-3 minutes.
8.Cover and cook for few minutes,finally adds soaked chana dal 1 cup and mix well evenly.Cover and cook for another few minutes,add fried baby onions,tamarind juice.
9.Cover and cook for another 7-10 minutes and transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
