Senagapappu Thotakura Kada

Ingredients:

1.Chana dal
2.Thotakoora Kadalu
3.Onion chopped
4.Green chillies
5.Ginger garlic paste
6.Garam masala powder
7.Cumin seeds
8.Dried red chillies
9.Turmeric powder
10.Curry leaves
11.Mustard seeds
12.Red chilli powder
13.Salt to taste
14.Oil

Preparation:

1.Take a pressure pan add in soaked chana dal,thotakoora kadalu,onions,green chillies,some water as required and close the lid.
2.Cook
for 3-4 whistles for 15 minutes.Remove the lid,add in salt to taste,red
chilli powder and bring it to boil until water evaporates.
3.Add ginger garlic paste and cook for few minutes,meanwhile take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
4.Add
in dried red chillies,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,turmeric powder,curry
leaves and saute till light brown color,pour the mixture in dal and
sprinkle some garam masala powder,mix well.Transfer into a bowl garnish
with coriander leaves.
