Fried Potato Scoops


1.Potatoes 1/4 kilo
2.Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
3.Green chillies chopped 3
4.Shajeera 1/2 tbsp
5.Red chilli powder
6.Salt to taste
7.Tomato sauce 2 tbsp
8.Cumin seeds powder 1 tbsp
9.Coriander leaves
10.Oil for deep frying


1.Peel the potatoes and scoop them in small size potatoes,keep aside in a bowl.If baby potatoes are available we can use it.
2.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,add potato scoops to the hot oil and deep fry till nice golden brown colour.
3.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add shajeera,ginger chopped,green chillies and saute.
4.Add salt,red chilli powder,tomato sauce and give it a good stir.Add potato scoops to the pan and toss well.
5.Finally sprinkle some cumin powder,coriander leaves and transfer into a plate,garnish with coriander,serve hot.
