Karjuram Pulihora


1.Dry dates 50 grams
2.Rice 1 cup
3.Carrot slices 1/2 cup
4.Oil 3 tbsp
5.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
6.Dried red chillies 2
7.Green chillies 4
8.Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
9.Peanuts 1/2 cup
10.Curry leaves
11.Lemon juice
12.Cashew nuts 10 grams
13.Salt to taste
14.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
15.Hing a pinch


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add tempering seds,cashew nuts,dried red chillies,peanuts,green chillies and saute for few minutes.
2.Add curry leaves,ginger chopped and saute for few minutes.
3.Add dates paste,turmeric powder and saute for another few seconds.Add cooked rice,sprinkle some salt and mix well evenly all over.Squeeze a lemon and remove from heat,transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
