Kandipappu Payasam


1.Toor dal 1 cup
2.Saggubiyyam 1 cup
3.Milk 1/2 ltr
4.Sugar 1 cup
5.Ghee 2 tbsp
6.Grated coconut 1/2 cup
7.Dry fruits 20 grams
8.Cardamom powder


1.Take a pan pour some ghee and heat it,fry dry fruits till light brown colour and keep aside.
2.In the same add boiled toor dal  and saute till raw smell goes off.Add grated coconut and mix well and fry for few minutes.
3.Add milk,boiled saggubiyyam and give it a good mix.Sprinkle some cardamom powder,sugar 1 cup and mix well till sugar melts evenly in mixture.
4.Cook for few minutes and transfer into a bowl,garnish with fried dry fruits.Serve hot.
