Paneer Dilbahar


1.Paneer 1 cup
2.Cashew nut paste 1/2 cup
3.Onion chopped 1
4.Green chillies 2
5.Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
6.Salt to taste
7.Red chilli powder
8.Turmeric powder a pinch
9.Maida 1/4 cup
10.Corn flour 2 tbsp
11.Butter 1 tbsp
12.Oil for deep frying
13.Fresh cream 2 tbsp
14.Coriander leaves
15.Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a deep bowl add maida,corn flour,salt and mix well with water,prepare a thick batter consistency.
3.Now dip the panner pieces in batter and slowly drop them in hot oil and deep fry till light golden brown colour.
4.Take another pan add some butter and melt it,add onions,green chillies,ginger garlic paste and mix well.
5.Add salt,red chilli powder,turmeric and give it a stir.Add cashew nut paste and mix well,add some water as required and cook.
6.Cook for few minutes till it attains thick in consistency,add fresh cream,fried paneer and give it a stir.
7.Sprinkle some cumin powder and mix it well.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
