Capsicum Chana Dal Fry


1.Chana dal boiled 1 cup
2.Capsicum chopped 1
3.Coconut grated 1/2 cup
4.Putnala podi 2 tbsp
5.Roasted sesame seeds powder 2 tbsp
6.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
7.Garlic cloves 4
8.Dried red chillies 2
9.Curry leaves
10.Coriander leaves
11.Salt to taste
12.Red chilli powder
13.Turmeric powder
14.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add tempering seeds,dried red chillies,garlic cloves,curry leaves,turmeric powder and saute for few minutes.
2.Add capsicum and mix it well,fry for another few minutes till tender and soft.
3.Add chana dal,red chilli powder,salt and mix well.Add putnala podi,coconut grated,sesame powder and give it a good stir.
4.Stir fry for few minutes and finally add coriander leaves.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
