Kanda Pulusu

Ingredients:

1.Kanda boiled 1 cup
2.Urad dal 1 tbsp
3.Chana da l1 tbsp
4.Dried red chillies 2
5.Pepper corns
6.Curry leaves
7.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
8.Onion chopped 1
9.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
10.Sesame seeds powder 2 tbsp
11.Fenugreek seeds powder 1/4 tbsp
12.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
13.Jaggery
14.Coriander leaves
15.Pudina
16.Spring onions
17.Tomatoes chopped 2
18.Hing a pinch
19.Tamarind juice
20.Turmeric powder a pinch
21.Salt to taste
22.Red chilli powder
23.Oil 2 tbsp
24.Mustard seeds

Preparation:

1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add cumin,mustard seeds,pudina,spring onions and onion paste,curry leaves and saute for few minutes.
2.Add kanda,turmeric powder,red chilli powder and fry for couple of minutes.
3.Add tomatoes,salt,tamarind juice,jaggery,some water,methi powder,sesame powder and bring it to boil for few minutes till it attains thick consistency.
4.Add masala powder (chana dal,urad dal,dried red chillies,pepper) and give it a good stir.
5.Finally add coriander leaves and transfer into a bowl,serve hot.
