Gujarati Veg Kavva

Ingredients:

1.Wheat flour 1 cup
2.Green peas 1/2 cup
3.Curry leaves
4.Onion chopped 1
5.Coriander leaves
6.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
7.Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
8.Garlic cloves 4
9.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
10.Salt to taste
11.Red chilli powder
12.Garam masala powder a pinch
13.Tamarind juice
14.Tomato chopped 1
15.Carrot grated 1/4 cup
16.Green chillies 3
17.Sev
18.Oil 2 tbsp

Preparation:

1.Firstly prepare chapathi with wheat flour,ghee and tear into small pieces and keep aside.
2.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add tempering seeds,green chillies,curry leaves,onions and fry for few minutes.
3.Add green peas,tomatoes and mix well.Cover and cook for few minutes till veggies are tender.
4.Add ginger,garlic pieces to the frying pan and stir fry.Add tamarind juice and saute.
5.Add some water as required,add salt,red chilli,turmeric,garam masala powder and mix well.
6.Finally add chapathi pieces and mix well,cover and cook for five minutes.After one switch off the stove and sprinkle some coriander leaves,transfer into a bowl and garnish with sev.Serve hot.
