Kandipappu Biryani


1.Toor dal 1/2 cup
2.Rice 1 cup
3.Beans 1/4 cup
4.Potato 1
5.Carrot 1
6.Onion chopped 1
7.Cashew nuts 10 grams
8.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
9.Green chillies 4
10.Ghee 2 tbsp
11.Salt to taste
12.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
13.Coriander leaves
14.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour some ghee,oil and heat it,add onions,green chillies,potatoes and saute for few minutes.
2.Add carrot,beans,cashew nuts and fry for few minutes till tender.
3.Add garam masala powder,ginger garlic paste,toor dal,rice and give it a good mix.
4.Add hot water,salt to the pan,cover and cook till done.Transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
