Beerakaya Masala Curry


1.Beerakaya pieces 1 cup
2.Peanuts 1/2 cup
3.Dry coconut
4.Whole garam masala
5.Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
6.Milk 1/2 cup
7.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
8.Onion chopped 1 tbsp
9.Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
10.Dried red chillies 2
11.Coriander leaves
12.Curry leaves
13.Turmeric powder a pinch
14.Salt to taste
15.Oil 3 tbsp


1.Blend dry roasted coriander seeds,sesame seeds,dry coconut,dried red chillies.peanuts,garam masala,salt into a smooth paste.
2.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add cumin,mustard seeds,curry leaves and saute for a minute.
3.Add onion chopped and fry,add beerakaya pieces and saute for few minutes.
4.Add prepared ground masala paste and mix well,coat well the masala evenly.
5.Add some milk,cover and cook till tender.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
