Kakarakaya Mukkalu Pachadi


1.Kakarakayalu 1/4 kilo boil with buttermilk
3.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
4.Dried red chillies 5
5.Green chillies 2
6.Curry leaves
7.Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
8.Fenugreek leaves
9.Tamarind pulp
10.Hing a pinch
11.Coriander leaves
12.Salt to taste
13.Red chilli powder
14.Turmeric powder
15.Oil 1/2 cup


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add tempering seeds,dried red chillies,curry leaves,green chillies and saute for a minute.
2.Add pinch of hing,kakarakayalu and mix well.fry till nice golden brown colour.
3.Add tamarind pulp,jaggery,turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder, dry roastedmustard,fenugreek powder and mix well.Cook for another few minutes.Transfer into a bowl and serve immediately.
