Usirikaya Tomato Curry


1.Usirikayalu boiled 1 cup boil with salt,sugar
2.Tomatoes chopped 2
3.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
4.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
5.Dried red chillies 2
6.Curry leaves
7.Sugar 2 tbsp
8.Masala red chilli powder
9.Turmeric powder a pinch
10.Salt to taste
11.Onion chopped 1
12.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
13.Coriander leaves
14.Oil 3 tbsp


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds and saute for a minute.
2.Add curry leaves,onions and fry till nice golden colour brown.
3.Add turmeric,salt,ginger garlic paste and mix well,fry for few minutes.
4.Add tomatoes and cook till nice and tender,add red chilli powder,garam masala powder and give it a stir.
5.Finally add usirikayalu and mix well,cover and cook for few minutes till done,switch off the flame and serve hot with coriander leaves.
