Cabbage Masala Curry


1.Cabbage 2 cups
2.Carrot pieces 1/2 cup
3.Capsicum chopped 1
4.Onion chopped 1
5.Tomato chopped 1
6.Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
7.Boiled Sweet corn 1/2 cup
8.Boiled green peas 1/2 cup
9.Cashew nuts
10.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
11.Gasagasalu 1 tbsp
12.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
13.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
14.Salt to taste
15.Red chilli powder
16.Turmeric powder
17.Coriander leaves
18.Curry leaves
19.Oil 3 tbsp


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,garlic chopped,curry leaves,onions and saute for few minutes by covering a lid.
2.Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and saute for a minute.
3.Add tomatoes,carrot and saute,cover and cook for a minute by covering a lid.
4.Now add cabbage,green peas,sweet corn and mix well.Add capsicum,pudina,salt and saute,cover and cook for few minutes.
5.Add cashew nut,gasagasala paste and mix well with some water as per gravy consistency.
6.Cover and cook for few minutes till tender,sprinkle some coriander leaves and transfer into a bowl.Serve hot.
