Celebrated every year on 23rd January, National Almond Day is a way to recognize these delectable nuts and generate awareness around the various health benefits from consuming them.

Almonds are a natural source of 15 essential nutrients. They are high in vitamin E, plant-based protein, dietary fiber. In addition, almonds are a source of minerals such as magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium and provide multiple benefits. They also have a favorable fat profile, as for every serving (30grams), one gets 13 grams of unsaturated fats, out of which 9 grams are monounsaturated fats, the good kind of fats for the human body.
