World Health Day: CARE Hospitals launches preventive health check-up package
Hyderabad, 7th April 2021: On the occasion of World Health day on 7th April, CARE Hospitals Hi-tech City, Hyderabad has launched a preventive health check-up package. COVID-19 has highlighted the inequalities in the healthcare system more than ever before. Keeping in view the fact that there are still many people who don’t have access to healthcare services, CARE Hospitals has launched this package to encourage people to go for preventive health check-ups.All across the world, some people struggle to make ends meet with little daily income, have poorer housing conditions, little or no education, fewer employment opportunities, experience greater gender inequality and have little or no access to safe environments, clean water and air, food security and health services. This leads to suffering, illness and premature death, which are all preventable with access to healthcare facilities.

Many more lives can easily be saved if the lesser privileged section of the society is encouraged to visit hospitals for preventive healthcare check-ups. The global pandemic has made the situation more difficult than ever before with people delaying hospitals visits for fear of catching infection. The main objective of launching this package is to make basic healthcare accessible for all and helping detect underlying problems while there is still time.”
