Hopes have renewed in the case of conjoined twins Veena and Vani, as a group of doctors from Australia have come forward to perform surgery. They are at present studying the case and will be able to say within four weeks if the surgery would be taken up. Royal Children's Hospital doctor Srinivas said that if there is even an iota of doubt about their survival, the surgery might not happen. Telangana government too is willing to go forward with the case.
