Air India has decided to change it's route to United States of America (USA). It will now take the eastern path over Pacific Ocean, landing at Pacific Ocean. This route will enable the flight to land three hours earlier than usual, because of the same wind direction. Fuel too is saved in this manner. Earlier, AI flights took the western route, over Atlantic, where wind direction was against the flight, leading to usage of extra fuel and slowing down the journey.
