India's shuttler P.V Sindhu kept India's medal hope alive by entering the quarter-finals. Sindhu has entered the last eight stage of the women's singles event by defeating Tai Tzu-ying of Chinese Taipei in straight games with a margin of 21-13, 21-15. PV Sindhu will now face World No.2 Wang Yihan of China. She will clash with her on August 16th in the quarterfinal.
