Andhra Pradesh government set up command control centre in Vijayawada at a cost of Rs 20 crore to regulate traffic during the ongoing Krishna Pushkaralu. Chief Minister N Chandrababu inaugurated it. About 250 personnel sitting in control room can coordinate with field staff by monitoring 1400 CCTV cameras and 400 live cameras. A SP-level official has been appointed as in-charge for command control room.
