The Indian government has launched Operation Sankat Vimochan, to save hundreds of Indians who are stuck in South Sudan, where a civil war is raging between government forces and rebels. Union minister V.P. Singh is in charge of the Operation and he has sent two C70 war planes have left to Sudan to get back nearly 600 Indians. The situation in South Sudan took a worse turn, when UN forces were attacked.
