United Kingdom has joined a long list of nations after the US, Switzerland and Mexico to back India's bid to enter the Nuclear Suppliers Group. UK Prime Minister David Cameron said he is looking favourably at India's case to join the NSG. Cameron said that UK is one of the India’s strongest partners in the West. On trade front, he stated that UK is a gateway for India to access European market.
