Mumbai High Court slammed the Censor Board for Film Certification (CBFC) that it's job was to only certify the films and not censor them. Earlier, the court had asked the board to explain nearly 100 cuts it had made to the film, 'Udta Punjab.' The film ran into a controversy as it was made on drug trade in the state of Punjab. The board cut off many parts, especially where the name Punjab occurred. This angered Bollywood film makers who went to court over the issue.
