While companies are supposed to maintain a dropped-call rate of less than two percent, in a recent check by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), in several cities, it was noticed that major companies failed the test. They included majors like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Aircel. Some had dropped-call rates at six per cent. It is to be seen what measures TRAI will initiate against the erring companies.
