In the wake of a tourist agent hoodwinking some 40 Telugu pilgrims, they are now stuck at Katmandu in Nepal. About a third of pilgrims are from Khammam district in Telangana. The Telangana government is making efforts to get them back and spoke to those Union External Affairs ministry. They in turn contacted the Indian High Commissioner in Nepal. Telangana representative in the Centre Venugopala Chary is supervising.
