Jagan will be observing Jaladeeksha for three days, starting today at Kurnool. For this he first performed puja at his residence at Pulivendala in Kadapa district. He then visited the Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari temple to attend special pujas, before leaving to Kurnool. Jagan is observing Jaladeeksha in protest of the ruling Telugu Desam's alleged failure in preserving Krishna waters and against Telangana government for planning projects over Godavari river.
