The Telangana government will be seeking financial aid from the Central government for tackling the drought. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday. Chandrashekar Rao will be seeking financial assistance of Rs 2,350 crore from Centre. The State government had already prepared a report on drought for submitting it to Centre.
